P3 EXPERIENCE SITE visit site

We wanted to create a semi-portfolio/experience/extravaganza site that showed propaganda3's views in a bit of an untraditional way. We partnered with the great people at Bazillion and went all out on what became the propaganda3 experience.
- 'The story starts at The Corporation. A place where websites are sold as templates, and all the employees are mindless drones. You are the rouge who plants the P3 machine, in hopes to overtake The Corporation and free the world from it's mindlessness. With the help of Viridian Disciple, you must journey to The Corporation's main server core and reroute the servers. Go now, before all is lost!'

QUEENS CLUB

Alex Purifoy - a music video director based out of Orlando - came to me to create this music video for the band Queens Club. We wanted it to be playful with a nice motion shots. We crafted this rollercoaster ride that takes you through multiple scenes in one fluid camera motion.

MOANA

Stretch - the kc based sculpture artist, famous diner owning, outdoor concert venue guardian - came to us to make an app that any college student would enjoy. He challenged us to make an app that made all kinds of moans, purrs, donkey noises, and all other stereotypical sex sounds but to still keep it tasteful. We came up with Moana. The app with four skins centered around looks from sex in art history. We still haven't gotten it through the app store. Apparently Apple doesn't appreciate the humor.

ETC

The guys from The Undesigned and Embrace the Culture contacted me to create their 'brand experience' site. It's a great brand to be involved with so I got started and ended up on these comps for their new online presence. The layout is based around the idea of bringing the culture together by showing the strength of their numbers through data visuals in line with their products. Unfortunately the project ultimately fell through, but I still love where the looks landed.

A SPACE ADDYSY visit site

The Kansas City Addy Awards is one of the most fiercely contested regionals in the nation. The came to us at Propaganda3 to design and develop the online presence for the 2010 show based around the theme 'A Space Addysy.' We created the site and took it a step forward by displaying all the Addy winners and included images of the work for all the gold winners.

HAUNTED QUEENS CLUB visit site

Alex Purifoy - a music video director based out of Orlando - came to me to create a traditional music video for the band Queens Club. We signed on to make the traditional video but also threw in the idea of an interactive music video. He loved it so we came up with Haunted Queens Club. It's a site that allows you to change out the scene, change out the scene colors, adjust the brightness of the band and control the view of the camera -all while the video is playing.

HORRORSCOPES download

The copywriter at Propaganda3 came up with the crazy idea of an app that instead of giving you a weekly 'good fortune' horoscope, it would tell you all the bad things that were going to happen to you. The idea of Horrorscopes was born. We carried out the vision and crafted the myth of Mista Epiphany, the son of a Jamaican princess and a spice trading Finnish captain. Mista Epiphany will now be sharing with you the true tellings of your week ahead.

In 2010, we decided to rebrand the Propaganda3 look. With that we created a new flagship site to accompany our Propaganda3 experience site. We wanted this one to be all about the work and the information. Something that could show who we are and what we do in a very effecient way.

ABOUT

I'm an interactive creative director | motion designer living and working in Kansas City, MO. I work at Propaganda3 where I get to work with a great team and build lots of cool interactive software. I believe strongly in team work and that working with creative peers with different backgrounds can produce amazing results. When I'm not at Propaganda3, I'm either working freelance with a collective artistic group called FancyHippo, or I'm hanging out with my lovely wife and our two dogs. I'm always looking for fun projects to work on so hit me up if you have something in mind.
